Harpenden have had a strong start to the season, only with 1 defeat thus far and come to the David Lawrence Memorial Ground top of the table by 15 points. They have as strong a squad in the division as any with Andrew Neal having a wonderful season with both bat and ball for club as well as County.
They have brought in a number of new players, namely Cole Briggs the pro from New Zealand, Ollie Batchelor from Normandy CC in the Surrey
Premier League, old boy Ben Frazer from Hampstead and Charlie Mumford who has been with Hampshire for some considerable time.
Last year the corresponding game at Potters Bar was rained off and Bar held off their strong challenge winning the last four matches of the season to secure the title for the second time in succession.
Team news will follow later in the week
