Potters Bar record at home to Old Owens in all league games since 2002

Just the second league meeting between the two teams at The David Lawrence Memorial Ground and not many will forget the last encounter when Bar won the league, by the barest of margins and secured their back-to-back league title.
Old Owens had secured their league position arguably the week before that encounter and this year is another struggle for them as at the time of writing they find themselves second bottom in the table. They've 5 defeats on the bounce (apart from a cancelled game in week 9) and have won just twice in their last ten matches - however it has to be said, last year they deservedly beat Bar in the timed format and should really have won the game on the last day of the season in 2023.
This year has already seen Bar triumph over Owens as they go in search of their second 'double' of the summer. Bar racked up 293 in their 50 overs, with fifties from James Seward and James Scott and Owens although having a wonderful start at 102 for 0, capitulated to 180 all out, with skipper Luke Chapman snaring a five wicket haul.
Owens have made two additions to their team since the last meeting, ex Harpenden batter Danyaal Khalid joining from Pudsey Congs in Leeds and Tanvay Ahmed from Tring and they will be looking to make a positive impact on their relatively new clubs.
Team news sees Reece Hussain and James Scott definitely return to the team and a confirmed eleven will be released in the week
PBCC expected to be
Steve Gale, James Seward (w), Reece Hussain, Charlie Scott, James Scott, Ashleigh Cox, Thilan Walallawita, Luke Chapman (c) Anmol Maheshram, Callum Lloyd & Jigar Mehta
