A below strength Potters Bar 3rd X1 entertained a strong experienced Radlett 4th X1 on Saturday and were comprehensively beaten by 101 runs.
Skipper Dave Pett lost the toss and the visitors elected to bat first on a fresh pitch at Owens school.
Wickets fell sporadically throughout the innings but the visitors batted all the way down and posted a competitive total of 209-10 in their 50 over allocation.
Tom Kerr and Samith Pramararththa both picked up 3 wickets apiece whilst there was a good 10 over spell bowled by debutant 15 year old Aditya Sembian.
In reply the home side struggled against the experienced visiting bowling attack and in truth were never in the game.
Only Tom Kerr scored over 20 as the home side crumbled to 108 all out in the 41st over.
Next week the team will look to get back on track away to Kings Langley 2nd X1 hopefully boosted by the return of two or three players.
