On a lovely sunny day at the Rosedale club, the thirds were hoping to get back to wining ways.
Skipper Dave Pett lost the toss and Waltham Cross Rosedale chose to bat first on a mine field of a track.
With Ben and Teddy opening the bowling it was not long before the wickets started to fall, Teddy was keeping it tight from his end and Ben was taking the wickets. Teddy was replaced by Tiron who soon help himself to a couple of wickets.
WCR were reduced to 124 all out from 30 overs .
After a nice tea our opening pair of Rob and Dan, walked out in confident fashion, young Rob hitting a lovely cover drive for 4 , then he was out in the must unlikely fashion, everyone thought he had been given out run out , ball coming back from the keepers pads, but no he had been bowled of his pads, poor Rob.
