Bar continue unbeaten run

Potters Bar continued their unbeaten run against Winchmore Hill B on Monday.

WH decided to bat and got off to a flyer as Bar’s bowling was erratic and the fielding a little sloppy. This was maybe due to so many games being called off but eventually control came about after Henry Fishpool took two quick wickets. Captain Arman Malik, Dylan Johnson, Jake Hall, Alex Lytrides, Dinuka Karunathilaka and Ashlin Whitaker all improving as the game progressed leaving WH with 102 on the scoreboard. Jacob Haynes, and Ashlin being the pick of the fielders.

Arman and Nick Hartley opened the batting with a flourish as Nick found the boundary twice in one over. After his departure Bar lost two quick wickets but Tom Reynolds, Henry and Peter Pezzarini supporting the excellent innings of Arman (40no) to time the win well in the 19th over.

A win, but Bar will need to raise their game when they take on WH A side next Sunday.
