The Men's 1s put last week's disappointing result Nomads behind them as they thumped bottom of the table Wisbech Town by 6 goals to nil, despite playing in the worst conditions of the afternoon. Four goals from Mark Turpin (claiming now to be the club's all time leading goal scorer?) and one each from Simon Tenwick and Miles Tomkins.

The Ladies 1s maintained their promotion push with a comfortable 5-2 victory away to Letchworth 2s, despite falling behind after only 15 seconds! Two goals each from Emily Gerke and Lucy Edwards and the other from Caroline Pickersgill.

The Ladies 2s were playing a rearranged game at home to Stevenage 4s and fell to a 0-2 defeat to ruin the recent unbeaten run.

The Men's 3s were at home to promotion chasing Bedford 5s and secured another much needed point with a 2-2 draw. Both Bar goals scored by George Wickham.

I can only assume that Storm Dennis struck St Albans considerably harder than anywhere else as both the Men's 2s and Men's 4s had their away games postponed!
