Pride of place to the Men's 1s who travelled almost 80 miles to Bury St Edmonds and put in a terrific team display to secure a deserved 1-0 win. This result, along with third placed Crostyx failing to win, means that the side have won promotion to the Prem B division of the East League with a game to spare. The Ladies 1s missed the chance of securing 2nd place in the 5 Counties Premier League as they fell to a 2-3 defeat away to third placed Welwyn Garden City - however just a point is required in their final game next week at home to Letchworth 2s. The Bar goals were scored by Lucy Edwards and Emily Gerke.

The Ladies 2s continued their recent surge with a splendid 2-0 victory over Letchworth 4s, thereby guaranteeing that will not finish in the bottom 2. Goals from Chris Field and Robyn Purcell-Still.

Not such good news however from the rest of the Men's section where both the 2s and 3s face a relegation fight:

The Men's 2s were at home to Luton Town and were unfortunate to go down 0-1 to a goal scored in the final 15 minutes.

The Men's 3s faced a difficult trip to play second placed Berkhamsted 3s and fell to a 0-2 defeat.

Finally the Men's 4s were as home to second placed Harpenden 3s and even the visitors agreed that the final 0-9 score line did not reflect the game.
