After an in-depth discussion with the management team and players, it has come to light we have a player(s) who has been advised to self isolate after mixing with two other players from a different league on Saturday night who have also been told to self isolate via the governments 111 health advice line.

Another Scholars player has recently shown symptoms and told if symptoms worsen to self isolate immediately.

I would like to confirm our player(s) have not had a positive test!

They both have been advised by the Government Health Authorities and their guidelines. (More details to follow.)

The Board has made its decision in the interests of the health and safety of players, match officials, staff, supporters and the general public.

“Today’s announcement is made in the interests of public health but, equally, the health and safety of players, match officials, and staff across the game. This is of paramount importance as the country enters the ‘delay’ phase of the coronavirus pandemic.”
