The club can confirm that it has council approval and has started to drawdown on the funding for the development of the Lantern Stadium, with further exciting additions being added to the scheme.
In September, the club confirmed that Community Infrastructure Levy (CiL) money had been granted towards the project by Hertsmere Borough Council, and this has now started to be supplied to the club in instalments, which will greatly help the efforts to make the new plans for the Lantern Stadium a reality.
In addition to the works on the new 3G surface and floodlights, works are also in progress to improve the Lantern Stadium’s frontage, installing new front doors and an entrance lobby area. academy classroom with separate facilities.
The club are in talks with an educational provider to make an ‘in-house’ academy a reality. The academy will be able to educate young people who want to carry on their footballing journey alongside gaining official educational qualifications.
If you would like any further information on the project, please contact the club’s Director Adam via adamwaller@pbtfc.co.uk
The club would like to thank supporters for their patience whilst we deliver these much-needed improvements for the club and our community.
