We can confirm that defender Ronnie Henry has decided to leave the club to pursue a new opportunity better suited to his personal life.
Having made 68 appearances for the club since joining at the start of last season, Ronnie has been a key member of the squad as a leader, and a consummate professional.
Having been named the Player of the Season last year, Ronnie has enjoyed a superb spell at the club.
He even managed to have a stint sharing the pitch with his son Louie last year.
After announcing his decision to depart, Ronnie said: “I’ve had an incredible two years at the club and had some memorable times, the highest ever points tally in the league, Player of the Season and sharing the same pitch as my son, wow.
“I’ll be forever grateful, and I wish you all the very best. From me and my family, Thank you for everything.
“Up the Bar.”
We’d like to thank Ronnie for his services to the club, and wish him the very best of luck for the rest of his career.
