Rose signs!

We are delighted to announce the signing of Leigh Rose from Ware!

The box to box midfielder has put pen to paper to move to the Lantern Stadium next season, in a big signing for the Scholars.

Rose knows how to chip in with goals, and was instrumental in Ware’s journey to the playoff final last term.

Max Mitchell said he had been determined to sign Rose for a long time.

He said: “I’m delighted to have signed Rose for next season, he’s a player I’ve admired for a long time, his aggression and fight will give us another dimension.

“He was one of my main targets since the off season began and I’m glad he is now at the level he deserves to be playing at. He’s played in many big games over this career and that’s something that’s never phased him.

“Another player who’s no stranger to being a leader on and off the pitch, I’ve got high aspirations for Leigh and expect him to be the difference in games at the higher end of the pitch this season.”
