We are delighted to be able to confirm the signing of 31 year old midfielder Scott Shulton! Shulton arrives at the club with an impressive footballing CV, having started his career at Wycombe Wanderers’ academy, Shulton has had spells with Hemel Hempstead and was playing for St Albans as recently as the 2019/20 season, with his last club being Hayes & Yeading.

A friend of both Lee O’Leary and Scott Cousins, Shulton’s close relationship with the coaching staff here at Bar is sure to be greatly beneficial to supporting both the younger players within the squad and also to ensure that Shulton is able to settle in to the club as soon as possible.

Shulton is the third addition to O’Leary’s team this summer, along with Hafed Al-Droubi and Charlie Edwards, who were announced as new signings for the club on Thursday.

Shulton is a player of very high calibre, making for an impressive signing for the Scholars, whom we are excited to see playing at the LA Construction Stadium next season.
