The proverbial game of two halves saw the Scholars and the Casuals take a share of the points which saw both sides ensure safety from relegation.
The game started in the worst possible way for Bar as Reyon Dillon took advantage of some uncharacteristically untidy defending to put the visitors in front with just two minutes gone.
Six minutes later and Bar were two behind as Jack Strange rose above the Bar defence to head home for the Casuals.
The Scholars kept their composure as they tried to establish some control of the game. But despite having plenty of possession for the rest of the first half were unable to really threaten the Corinthian goal.
What a difference a half time talk can make.
Bar came out all guns blazing and were soon back in the game. Marvin Morgan laid a lovely ball off to Dernell Wynter and the top scorer made no mistake to make it 2-1.
Just two minutes later Brad Sach drove a shot through a crowd area to score his fifth goal in five games to bring the Scholars level.
That was it for the scoring as for ythr rest of the afternoon both sides worked hard but struggled to fashion much in the way of goalmouth action as the unseasonable heat began to take its toll.
The game ended with Bar on the attack looking for the win but at the end of the day a point apiece was enough for both teams to be able to say "see you next season".
