A Step 4 winning centre back has signed for the Bar, as we welcome Daniel Tagoe in an exciting signing for the club.

Tagoe won the Southern Central Division One last season with Leighton Town, showing his credentials as a winner in this league.

A technical player who can keep possession and play the ball out from the back, Tagoe will play a key role in Jimmy Martin's defence.

He is also 6'5 tall, which makes him an aerial presence in both boxes.

The 23-year-old defender played 27 times for Leighton Town last season, keeping six clean sheets in his last seven appearances, proving his talent and ability at Step 4.

Tagoe has also played for AFC Dunstable and AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
