The 'Scholars' progressed to the 2nd qualifying round of The Emirates FA Cup in style to entertain a crowd of 130 with lots of support for the visitors evident.

A fast start saw the ever dangerous Ashley Nathaniel-George make one of many darting runs towards the goal line in the 8th minute and as he cut back inside, his pass found the run of JOE BENNETT who coolly slotted home.

Just nine minutes later the 'Scholars' made it 2-0 when Carl McCluskey’s long pass was poorly headed away and DANNY HART latched onto the dropping ball to score low to the Chalfont keeper Danny Malones’ left and into the bottom corner.

Nathaniel–George on the left and Joe Bennett on the right were causing all sorts of problems for the home team and with the midfield dominance of Chris Doyle and Ryan Forde the visitors restricted the home team to very few opportunities to open up the scholars defense so much so that keeper Ben Goode did not have a direct shot to save all afternoon.

Half time substitutions for Chalfont failed to raise their potential and with substitute Glenn Yala missing the target when well positioned early for the home team in the 48th minute it was not to be their day.

Indeed the 'Scholars' kept pressing and looked dangerous on many occasions, but had to wait until the 84th minute for their third. Combination play wide on the left saw ASHLEY NATHANIEL-GEORGE cut inside and rifle a shot into the far corner of the net to complete the scoring.
