Pineapple!!!!! was the shout at the end of the day after a brilliant day of Touch rugby, music, food, drink, raffles and Family fun had been had. But most importantly we had managed to raise over £6000 for local charities who are and have been supporting are Friend and club legend Barry Miller who is in the fight of his life with Brain cancer.
The touch competition was fiercly competitive for a charity day with the Caldy Touch team coming out on top of the 8 teams involved which included a Chester uni old boys team and other teams filled with young and old faces of Prenton past and present. We also would like to thank Oxton Parkionions for sending 2 teams and supporting the day.
The amount of people who turned up and supported was incredible and we thank everyone. Barry who was in the middle of his cancer treatment had, had a bad week in the build up to the day and was not himself but he was completley blown away when he turned up and he can not thank everyone enough for there love and support that he has received.

Well done to the organisation team of Knappo, Chardy, Elky, Jack Fin and Rab and all those others who did there own bits. It really showed what a truly special place Prenton Rugby club is!!!!!!! #pineapple #theshowgoeson
