After an appeal by club member Sean Astbury for funds to supply NHS staff at Arrowe Park Hospital with morale boosting thank you hamper; club members responded fantastically by raising £620 in just a few days.
Sean will now liaise with Chris Chapman, club player and paramedic to provide ICU staff at the hospital with "Thank you" hampers in support of the wonderful service they are providing for the, C19 patients.
This gesture by Prenton Rugby Club members continues to prove their commitment to the community. In recent months members have also contributed to raise funds to ensure the club can cover utility bills and running cost of the club;as well as raising money to assist an ex player who was recently been seriously injured in a road traffic accident.
