Cross-Adair, 19, has made 6 appearances for the Deepdale side in both the EFL Championship, where he made his debut aged 17, and The Emirates FA Cup, featuring as a late substitute against Tottenham Hotspur in the 4th Round proper.

Finlay joined Scottish League One side Annan Athletic on loan in 2023/24 and made 7 appearances in all competitions for The Galabankies, scoring his first senior goal against Montrose.

Cross-Adair now makes the temporary switch to Cables until 1st December and is available for selection this weekend as we head to Newcastle Benfield in the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round.
