Prescot Cables can confirm that defender Alex McNally has been made an offer from a club in the National League North which he has accepted. Whilst we are sad to see such a popular figure depart the club, we thank Alex for his enormous contribution to our Promotion last season and wish him well in his future career.

Alex joined Cables in the summer of 2023 on a dual registration with National League North side Warrington Town and immediately made a starting XI place his own. In total Alex made 46 appearances in the Amber & Black, scoring 3 times including a 90th minute winner against 1874 Northwich in August 2023. His goal against City of Liverpool FC in the NPL West Play-Off Final seals his place in Cables folklore for years to come.
