Dawson, 32, joins on a dual registration having played 90 minutes for Burscough against Cables in Tuesday evenings Liverpool County FA Senior Cup 1st Round tie, where he was a standout player for The Linnets.

Dawson has enjoyed an enviable career in the game, playing for a number of big name clubs such as Wigan Athletic, Leicester City, Notts County, Tranmere Rovers & Bristol Rovers as well as experience at Step 1 with Kidderminster Harriers and Eastleigh. Other clubs Dawson has featured for include Macclesfield Town, Chester, Southport, AFC Telford United, Hyde United and a first foray abroad at Cypriot team Achyronas Liopetriou in 2020.

A Bury native, Adam spent 2 years at Liverpool FC in his junior years having signed from his Hometown club for a 6 figure fee in 2007.

Dawson will certainly bring experience to the Cables side and could make his debut in Amber & Black at Whitby Town on Saturday (2nd November).
