Cookson, 21, joins from Lower Breck FC, where he was a mainstay in a defence that won the NWCL Title in 2024/25 before reaching the NPL West Play-Off's last season, in Breck's first ever season at Step 4.

Frazer is an exciting young player with enormous potential. He is a product of the Oldham Athletic academy during which time he made temporary switches to Northwich Victoria and Nantwich Town for his first tastes of senior football, before joining Lower Breck in 2024. Cookson going on to make over 100 appearances for the Anfield side.
