We are delighted to announce the signing of veteran defender, Peter Clarke.

Clarke has amassed over 750 appearances in the Football League in a professional career spanning over 20 years.

Peter counts Everton, Coventry City, Blackpool & Huddersfield Town amongst his former clubs.

Career highlights include scoring a 90th minute equaliser at Stamford Bridge for Southend United which forced an FA Cup Replay against Chelsea and whilst with Huddersfield, winning promotion to the EFL Championship by defeating Sheffield United in the 2011-12 League One Play-Off Final at Wembley. Clarke scoring from the spot in the Penalty shootout.

Clarke made his Premier League debut for Everton back in 2001 and is a former England U21International, winning 8 caps, and is now just 13 games shy of reaching 1000 career appearances.

Peter has won an incredible 7 Player of the Season awards at Blackpool, Southend United, Huddersfield Town (×2), Bury & Oldham Athletic (×2).

Clarke joins the Pesky Bulls after two seasons at Warrington Town.
