This Saturday sees P&S make the trip across to the Northumberland coast to play Blyth.
The return fixture earlier in the season resulted in a tight 17-23 defeat despite again leading at half time. Blyth currently occupy the second promotion spot in DN 3, winning 13 of their 14 league fixtures including last weeks convincing 36-7 victory away to TDSOB.
A much-changed squad will travel with a number of players unavailable, including last week’s second row partners of Brogan Millar and Lewis Reekie along with the experienced Graham Crosby from the backline. Chris Patterson is a doubt due to lambing commitments however, P&S have the luxury of having Joe Hughes in the squad, a player who has been severely missed at times this season. The evergreen Andy Marsh is also available to add plenty of options in the front five.
Kick off is 3pm at Blyth (NE24 3LE) and any support would be greatly appreciated.
