Season starts with a tough trip to Seghill.
This Saturday marks the start of the 2019/20 Durham & Northumberland Three league campaign, with P&S making the short trip to fellow Northumberland side Seghill.
Last season saw both sides have identical records, winning 5 games to finish 8th and 9th in the league. However, the P&S squad has been pushed throughout pre season and performed well in their most recent outing at Blyth, increasing the confidence of a squad whom are starting to gel.
Last seasons squad has been improved with new signings John Robson and Kieran Reilly taking their place in the backline, whilst Dave Henry will look to fill the void left by the departure of Gerry Robinson. Steven Henderson is missing due to cricket commitments; he is replaced by Luke Masters with James Bradshaw and Dan Whiley occupying the centre spots. Up front, the ever-present Adam Murphy and Stephen Armstrong are joined by Dan Tate and Brogan Millar, with Robert Reid and Yannick Debil completing an athletic looking forward pack.
Kick off is 3pm at Seghill Rugby Club, and as always, any support is greatly appreciated.
