This Saturday sees P&S enter the new decade with an away fixture at Yarm RFC.
The fixture between both sides has always provided plenty of entertainment with high scoring affairs often the norm. The hosts currently sit in 5th position in the league winning 5 of their 9 games this season including the 36-32 win at Stocksfield at the start of the campaign. Yarm have already played this year, losing their rearranged fixture at Seaham last week so will be keen to return to winning ways.
P&S will travel with a large and competitive squad leaving coach Russell with a number of tough selection issues. Clive Robson strengthens the front row options and Ryan Keates, Kieran Taylor and Steven Talbot will make their league debuts in the pack.
In the backline, Fly Half Steven Henderson has recovered from a shoulder injury to start while Joe Hughes returns to occupy the number 12 shirt. He will be partnered by the ever-reliable Masters in midfield. The back three has pace and skill in abundance as P&S look to continue to impress in attack, with the Nevin brothers, Whiley and Nicholls giving plenty of options.
Despite the long journey, any support would be greatly appreciated.
