Hello everyone,

Welcome back as we gear up for the season ahead. A big welcome too to those stepping up from Minis to the real deal. If you have any questions about fixtures, pitches or facilities please let me know.

I hope you all had a fabulous summer, the weather was amazing in my opinion. The pitches committee and RFU might disagree but we had no cricket cancelations so I liked it!

I am sure you are all aware of the restrictions placed on contact rugby by both the RFU and Pulborough RFC management. The recent rain has been very welcome and the ground seems able to take a stud but I have not received any advice changing the date contact games may resume. I will keep you all posted if I do.

There are no matches this Sunday, however all age groups are intending to train so the clubhouse and pitches will be incredibly busy. The U11s are on car parking duty and the U14 boys on Kitchen & Bar duty. Please ensure you have sufficient parents engaged and briefed of what is expected from each age group.

I will leave it to coaches to share pitches and training areas between you. You are all sensible and reasonable people (kind of). I suggest all players are asked to arrive dressed ready to train. All coaches are responsible for safeguarding if you use changing rooms; it could get messy. Please note the last information I had was that Pitch 1 is not to be used until further notice.

The draft Master Calendar for the year has been forwarded to the Head coaches. There's still some blanks as I await fixtures from various groups. Also I do have more data especially the Minis which I have yet to input. Please note I have added the first two Minis Festivals on 8th and 29th November which are dates you need to be elsewhere unless by prior arrangement with me. The first Sunday Schedule will be issued next week.

Kindly check the data on the calendar relating to your age groups and advise me of any errors or changes.

So I think this just about gets the ball rolling, let's all have an amazing season.
