Based on the latest advice, we currently see no reason to change any plans in place for training or fixtures this coming weekend .

Attention - All Players, Vice Presidents and Club Members,

Like many organisations and clubs, the PRFC Management Committee have been monitoring the recent updates regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We want to reassure our club members and their families that we are monitoring the situation with regards to Coronavirus, and we will take the necessary action to minimise the risk to our players and parents. This may include cancelling training, matches and festivals, upcoming tours or altering the services and facilities that the club provides on a temporary basis.
Based on the latest advice, we currently see no reason to change any plans in place for training or fixtures this coming weekend and for the time being Sussex Festivals and League matches are not directly affected.
We would request that all our players and families follow the latest government advice. This can be found on the following links

http://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public

We would ask that all PRFC members and visitors stay away from the club for a minimum of 14 days if they fit the criteria outlined by the government on the link above, specifically if they have travelled from a high-risk country or are displaying the symptoms:
- cough,
- high temperature,
- shortness of breath,
even if your symptoms are mild.
Additionally, we would like all to consider the following specific hygiene advice for players, spectators and coaches:
- Team members are to be reminded of the importance of good personal hygiene especially hand washing with soap and hot water.
- Please ensure hands are washed after handling gum shields at the end of training sessions.
- Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch any coughs or sneezes.
- Where possible avoid sharing towels, shirts and bibs. Where necessary remove any shared shirts, bibs and towels for laundering, this should be done on a hot wash 60°C.
If players/parents are worried about symptoms, they should call NHS 111 for advice. If you are concerned please follow the government guidance.

We will continue to closely monitor and follow the latest government advice. We know of course you’ll be doing the same, particularly with regard to advice about what to do if you’ve travelled to any of the regions identified in the latest advice.
