Another great morning of rugby was had by all 32 eager players today. It certainly was a morning of keeping warm, with the 3.5C keeping everyone's hands chilled.

The warm-up consisted of the usual running around the pitch with coaches on each corner to ensure that no-one cut the corners, followed by a new game where all the players had to sprint to the centre of the pitch and back again- this certainly warmed everyone up!
Next was everyone's favourite, Bulldog, where tactical tagging was in force with groups of defenders hunting down their chosen attacker- interesting tactics the coaches thought...

After the break, the players split into the same three groups as last week, where the main focus was practicing passing and catching the ball; we are certainly seeing these skills developing, well done all.
All three groups ended the morning with enthusiastic games with some fantastic passing and catching with trys galore
The coaches all reported that the enthusiasm today was very high in the games, with players putting their well practiced passing and catching skills into action.

As always, the players eagerly awaited the awards:
Player of the week:
Yellow- Brent Fforde for his fantastic effort
Red- Emma Blackburn for her great enthusiasm
Blue- Will Couldwell for his listening and focus

Special mentions:
Yellow- Sacha James for his listening to instructions
Red- Edward Tusler for his bravery (he hurt his chin) and great effort
Blue- Harvey-Ray Catton Strugnell for his enthusiasm and focus

A big thank you for the coaches who made today's session so enjoyable; in particular to Katherine Tusler, Nicky & Sam Fisher for helping out today

We are all waiting for next Sunday already!!
