Today saw Freelands showing her rather soggy windy chilly welcome to our visitor's Shoreham RFC. In total we had 40 boys (23 PRFC players) turn up to play rugby.
Due to the weather the session consisted of a number of games of 10 a side rugby. The main areas of attention were ball retention in the wet conditions and mastering the switch between defence & attack.
The final game was a 12 aside match between the 'A' Squad and Shoreham. The match was tightly contested with both teams playing hard competitive rugby. The match concluded 2 - 2, well done to Will Burchall and Sam Hall who scored.
Thank you to the parents who patiently cheered and supported the boys. As to the kids you should all be extremely proud of your performance today, you all kept playing and smiling despite those frozen fingers. Well done, the Coaching Team are very proud of you all.
Please watch the emails and website for details of the training next weekend which is away. Fingers crossed for those warm sunny Sunday mornings.......
