It was a lovely sunny autumn start with a great turn out and some new faces who hopefully will return next Sunday.
We started with improving the passing skills and practising their motor co-ordinating skills. This was followed by some games with emphasis on stopping and passing the ball as soon as they were tagged. Followed by playing Bull Dog ( one of their favourites) and Union Jack to help make them nice and tired for a peaceful Sunday afternoon...
We saw some lovely rugby moves; with the children attacking - passing the ball without being tagged and a follow up by players behind the person with the ball. The concept of line defence is starting to make sense to the children and we had a fantastic example of that where even the fastest players could not get through.
Special Trophies for Will and Sam this week who showed a great understanding of the game and played exceptionally well – Congratulations!
Also for playing really well a special mention to Patrick, Harry, Charlie and Jo – Well Done!
This was a great week for ALL the children – showing loads of interest and enthusiasm – Thank you – Keep up the good work kids!!
