Pulborough RFC Mini U6: Sunday 14 October 2012

A big thank you to all the children and to the mums and dads who helped as we were short of coaches this Sunday. After a warm up we played some Bulldog, then to emphasis line defence we played stuck in the mud.

We split the children into teams and played some matches with emphasis on; passing behind, tagging and returning the tag immediately.

Then we did some passing exercises and finished with another game of Bulldog.
It was very nice to see the children growing in confidence.
Special trophies were given to Harry and Jenna for putting some ‘uumph’ into their passing, for good catching and great enthusiasm. Special mention stickers were given to Harrison, Sean, Isaac and Ben for playing well, listening and their enthusiasm.
This was a great week and the children played for 1 ½ hours and when asked at the end what they had learnt their responses were “passing behind ”, “teamwork” etc.
