A look ahead to another sunny weekend of cricket

Week three of the 2018 season kicks off tomorrow with a Butleigh double header, as the 1st XI play hosts at the Shed whilst the 2s will make the short trip to Butleigh Court.

Looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat at the hands of Long Sutton last time out, skipper Paul Hewish makes just one change, as returning Chairman Kev Rogers comes in to replace the absent Phil Gregory.

The 2nd XI will travel to Butleigh 2's looking to make it back-to-back wins in Division 7N of the SCL, and skipper Joe Robinson will be hoping for a repeat performance from his side after 5 batsmen made it past 20 and no bowler conceded more than 30 runs last weekend.

The Sunday XI will be hoping to field a full side when they travel to Downend to take on Bristol Lions in the North Somerset League. Anyone wishing to take part should contact Ian Jones or Matt Johnson to register your interest.
