Goals from Callum Drake (a penalty after 52 minutes, having been fouled) and debutant Thomas Nichols (61) put QK into a 2-0 lead. Colden Common pulled a goal back close to full-time through David Paskins, who started the season with QK.
The win was QK's first since defeating Clanfield on 18th November. That result took QK to fourth in the table but, having been in cup action recently, a sole point from the three league games that followed had seen the club sink to 11th in a rather open Hampshire Premier League. This win has put QK up to ninth in the table.
