The AGM is a great opportunity for all to meet parents and coaches from across the age groups and the club committee members. Please do all you can to attend and engage with the club.
The success and future of QFC depends on volunteers and we invite you to consider joining the committee for the year ahead.
It is extremely important for the Committee to be re-energised and involve new people to help us develop and improve the Club. Many of the committee have been in their roles for several years, and will not continue indefinitely!
We would like to recruit assistant positions for key roles, to help succession planning, and there are other opportunities too.
Committee vacancies - WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!
If you are interested in joining the Committee, please email Fiona Kermode or Leon Nesbitt, our Chair, so that we can discuss with you.
Please let us have your expressions of interest to join the committee as soon as possible so that we can see whether a contested election is required for any of the positions, and to enable us to plan for the AGM.
In terms of time commitment, the committee meets c.6 times a year, either remotely or face to face. Meetings are normally an hour or two long. Those committee members who have specific roles on the committee will have more to do between meetings, and we ask that everyone gets involved from time to time with organising and supporting Club Events and Initiatives, whether or not on the Committee.
