History

The Club is named "Queniborough BS Cricket Club" as a recognition of it's origins. The Club is proud to represent the community of Queniborough, but equally we wish to acknowledge that the original Club was formed over 50 years ago as a recreational club for the employees and families of those employed within what became the British Shoe Corporation.

1958 Club founded as Freeman, Hardy Willis Cricket Club - Played initially at Western Park (moved to ground at Scudamore Road in 1970s).

1964 Winners Saturday Cup - Leicester Mutual League Louie Knight Cup (Capt. W. Aucott)

1965 Club becomes British Shoe Corporation Cricket Club

1975 Winners Evening League - Leicester Amateur Evening League Division 2 (Capt. M. Lindon)

1984 Winners Evening League(1st XI) - Leicester Amateur Evening League Division 3 (Capt. P.W. King)

2009 Queniborough take over the running of Winchester Cricket Club
