He did so peacefully, in the Princess Alice Hospice with me and his Dad with him. Andy has been fighting his battle with cancer with intense bravery from the very beginning and all the way through until the end.

The last few months have been particularly difficult and his bravery and strength is an inspiration to every one of us. I have been caring for him with every bit of strength I had. Knowing he had the love and support of so many, especially in the Decca family, has helped carry him through.

Andy gave out love so generously, and I’m sure you will all agree that being loved by Andy was an honour and a privilege we can all be grateful for.

I have been slowly processing the magnitude of this, and trying to take one step at a time. Although this was inevitable it is a complete shock and please take your time taking in this news.

I will be organising the funeral, and although Covid will limit that to a small affair, we will have a Memorial day for him when we are able to, when everyone from Decca as well as family and friends can get together to celebrate such an incredible man’s life.
Please remember the good times and any personal moments and memories you have with him.

Should anyone wish to, donations to the Princess Alice Hospice would be the most perfect way of remembering him by giving back to that incredible charity who gave him exceptional care in recent times. I will share a link for this.
