Eagles and Sharks maintain 100% records.

East Devon Eagles ran in an incredible 16 tries as they romped to an 88 - 22 victory over North Devon Raiders.

Adam Lison was first over the line on three minutes, before Dale Sleeman scored the first of his four. Newcomer James Bartholemew was next over the line with Rich Cadywould converting. Also on the scoresheet before half-time was Sleeman again, Cadywould, Ricky Croal, Kev Rodwell, Sean Lovett and Nathan Budd as the Eagles went in at the break 50 - 6 ahead.

Bartholemew got his second after the restart and, after a North Devon converted try, Mike Wilson and Sleeman both touched down.

Rodwell, Cadywould, Sleeman and Ty Tuckett completed the try scoring, with Cadywould's reliable boot consistently adding to the score.

Devon Sharks continued their impressive start to the Co-operative Rugby League South West Conference with an 84 - 28 win over Plymouth Titans at Easterfield Lane. The Sharks welcomed back a number of players from last season's successful team whilst Titans fielded some of the team that played during their glory years.

It was Titans who opened the scoring with a converted try, but Sharks soon hit back when Russell Morris scored under the posts. Plymouth regained the lead with another converted try only for the home side to keep in touch when Matt Allanson scored in the corner to make the score 10-12.r.

Two quick fire converted tries from the returning Jack Kieller gave the Sharks a little breathing space, but the Titans wouldn't give up and scored again before Sharks went further ahead with tries by Boyce and Allanson, the half-time score 34 - 16 to the Sharks.

With the Devon Sharks first attack of the second half Jimmy Hill scored his first of the day followed by speed merchant Allanson running the length of the field to beat the chasing Titans and score under the posts.

Further tries from Jimmy Hill, Tony McCarthy and Boyce stretched the lead to 62-20. Plymouth then pulled back 4 points with a try before McCarthy and Dan Williams took turns at scoring two tries apiece, McCarthy completing his hat trick.

Titans went over for a late consolation try to complete the scoring.

Exeter Centurions put in a confident display to ease past South Dorset Giants 52 - 14, advancing to the South West Cup semi-finals in the League and Cup double-header.

The Centurions fielded a number of new players but none looked out of place in a strong team performance that saw man-of-the-match Alex Ford register four tries.

Loose Forward Ben Cowley gave Exeter an early lead and Nick Reed also crossed, with Andrew Alderman converting. Cowley scored again and Ford got his first almost straight from the restart. Stand-in scrum-half Alderman crossed and then converted another, but the Giants had the final say of the first half with a well worked try finished by George Carter. The Centurions led 26 - 4 at the interval.

The visitors scored again soon after the break, but normal service was resumed when Alderman dotted down for his second try and Goulder also crossed.

Stand-off Ford then scored three in a row, one from a Matt Coldrey kick that was hacked on and collected on the run for a smart finish. The last conversion gave Alderman a personal tally of 20 points.

The Giants managed a late consolation through Chris Hurrell but the two points and a semi-final place belonged to the Centurions.
