Junior Hockey Update – April 2021
The long awaited return to junior sport was announced by the government effective Tuesday 27th April and all our preparations are ready for a return to hockey from this date.
Our junior hockey programme will now be extended through to the end of June 2021.
The majority of our weekly coaching sessions will run at the same days / times as previously commencing on the weekend of Friday 30 April to Sunday 2nd May. (Boys u14s will start back Tuesday 27th April)
All of the updates have been made to Pitchero so you will find details of all upcoming coaching sessions on your free Pitchero Club App

There are some changes to note:
• No Friday evening Inters / u16s outfield sessions (although GK sessions will take place)
• Junior Boys on Saturdays now split over two hours due to increased numbers
o 5pm to 6pm - Junior Infants to 4th class boys
o 6pm-7.15pm - 5th & 6th class boys
• Hockey skills clinics in June (Senior school only) – now open for early booking

• Hockey camps & skills clinics in July / August – all details now available
• July / August hockey camp times aligned to enable boys/girls to attend both the Railway Cricket Academy & Hockey (junior school in mornings, senior school afternoons)
• Girls Cricket Trial Programme will begin on Friday evenings (2nd class to 6th class)
