Lloyd looks back at the Oaks and forward to visiting the Bridges

After a good week's training we’ll certainly be looking to bounce back from a below par performance last week against Sevenoaks. I’ve no idea why our display was so flat. The harder we tried the tougher it got, but I was most disappointed at the basic things we did wrong.

The following morning my focus was immediately turned to the next fixture and we’ll be looking to put things right tomorrow when we travel to Three Bridges. Our opponents find themselves in 16th place in the league but have won their last 2 games with victories away at Herne Bay and Sittingbourne. We’ve prepared correctly and head to West Sussex looking to get back to winning ways ourselves.

Quick news on Liam Dickson. Dicko has his cast removed from his broken wrist on Wednesday however the news is not as good as we would’ve hoped. He needs more rest to prevent an operation so we keep our fingers crossed it heals quickly.

We head into the Christmas period now and a time of football that can determine and outline our season. I look forward to seeing some friendly faces tomorrow at the game and hopefully we’ll be celebrating 3 points.
