Per the IRFU, all clubs must complete a Covid 19 Club Health and Safety Plan prior to resuming rugby. The Ratoath RFC Health and Safety Plan is complete. The club are now preparing to return to rugby in Curragha. Essential Signage has been ordered, some PPE materials have been delivered to us from the IRFU, other materials are being sourced and they will be installed as soon as possible. We will notify the coaches when all the necessary steps are in place.
It is intended that Minis rugby will commence training on the first Saturday in September. Senior and youth teams will resume rugby as soon as the remaining Covid 19 preparations are in place. Coaches will contact squads directly regarding resumption dates.
Important guidelines for players, coaches and parents are available to view here on our website.
Players, coaches and parents need to become familiar with these guidelines before any return to rugby.
Coaches, please become familiar with the Return to Rugby Roadmap.
Before any player can return to rugby they need to complete a Personal Assessment Declaration.
The form is available here on our website, and a paperless version will be available from the 13th of July.
I hope this gives you the information you require, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
Thank you, Siobhán
