With Rugby suspended and business significantly restricted, we have been unable to relaunch our draw in the new year as anticipated. With Government announcements of only gradual easing of restrictions anticipated in March, we do not anticipate selling sufficient tickets to fund the clubhouse in time for the scheduled April draw, and need to postpone the draw to the start of the new season. While we appreciate that this is disappointing for people who have kindly supported us to date, we are hoping this will be understood in the context of the pandemic, and of ensuring we deliver funding to benefit our players and members.
The club continues to progress it's development plans with your support . A significant amount of work has already taken place on a foundation for our second pitch, and we remain hopeful of commencing the clubhouse build itself as soon as construction restrictions permit, and of making significant progress towards completion as close as we can to the commencement of the new season in September.
