The first quarter saw Rebels start well with some calm shooting and good movement. Going into the second quarter the intensity did drop allowing Ferns to create a small lead, but with Sam Alex and Vicky, who was replacing Faye, working well as a unit and Helen and Katie converting shots.

Going into the 4th quarter Ferns had a slim 4 goal lead. As with other games this season Rebels came out strongly and made up the deficit to bring the scores level. Jody and Tess were finding Helen and Katie despite a tough defensive circle and they kept their composure to keep the girls in it.

Unfortunately as the final whistle went the centre passes didn't work in Rebels favour and as time ran out Rebels lost by 1 goal. It was a great team effort and another tough game.

Well done girls and thanks to Vicky for standing in for Faye with a POM performance and Faye Whitley who came down to sub and score.

Rebels now have a 2 week break before they are next in action.
