Important information relating to Covid-19 regulations at RCC

H M Government / ECB rules state that spectators at organised Amateur sporting events including Cricket are not allowed until 19th May- at the earliest.

However, Cricket Clubs are to be allowed to serve alcohol outside in a designated ‘hospitality’ area, to seated members, by table service only.

The club bar will be open, serving of drinks outside, on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY until further notice.

It will open at 2pm and close at 9pm* (*Last Orders at 8.30pm and Time at the Bar at 8.45pm and all subject to change).

Initially a limited range of draught drinks will be available due to restricted opening times and the British weather!

All members must follow the latest guidance:

  • Face Coverings MUST be worn when you are not seated. No standing is permitted whilst drinking. This is a legal requirement.

  • Social Distancing MUST be observed, this is a Legal Requirement. Seated groups must be at least 2 m apart. You must not move around different groups.

  • Please wait by the steps near main entrance to be seated at busy times.

  • Groups should be a maximum of 6 people from different households Or a group from 2 Households. We have limited seating but members are welcome to bring their own seats, provided they remain within the hospitality area.

  • Those not seated or suitably distanced cannot be served. We will not be operating a booking service at this time. First come first served.

  • Access to the pitch perimeter is not permitted.

Anyone deemed not to be observing Social Distancing or Acceptable Behaviour could be asked to leave.

Please note that the access to Toilets will be via the Car Park entrance. Please be mindful of others in the confined areas of the stairs, entrance and toilets.

Members accompanied by children are reminded that they are responsible for supervising them at all times and that they should follow social distancing guidelines and remain seated at all times.

QR Posters for the NHS Covid-19 Scheme will be available for all members to register with. If you cannot access the App we will have a written contact register. All visiting members MUST register by one of these methods

Please download the App before you arrive if possible as Track and Trace is a Legal Requirement.

Anyone refusing to provide contact details will be asked to leave.

We are delighted to be able to welcome RCC members back to the club from this weekend, but trust you understand the restrictions we must all abide by. WE ASK FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND CO-OPERATION AS WE WORK TO THESE RULES.
