Whilst the 1-3's rested and Japan showed Scotland a thing or two, our own Rhinos and Kites played with the Colts travelling to Newbury.
Rhinos 34 - 12 RamsV
In a local league derby the Rhinos trampled over the Rams in a comprehensive victory which saw Reading dominate in almost every area. Mark Richards ran in the first try after 5 minutes and some ferocious Rhinos scrumaging helped Julian Edwards run a second in after 13 minutes (on his second attempt from no. 8). Further tries MotM Toby Jessop and Will Proctor-Searle in the first half set a half time score that the RAMS could not come back from. Justin Wheeler's boot once again added points from the T. Icing on the cake for the Rhinos was a drop goal from Duncan Mollinson near the full-time whistle. Spectators had to blink twice that a drop goal came from the Rhinos.
Kites 14 - 10 Chesham
The Kites defended their unbeaten run this season against Chesham winning 14-10. In an instense and closely fought contest both teams gave everything. Tash and Eamsie got back and forward of the match. Joint top of the table that includes such names as Rosslyn Park and Barnes, next fixture sees the Kites balle it out with Battersea Ironsides for top position.

Colts 7 - 46 Newbury A
Led by stand-out performances from Will Taelman & Harry Rayner, we opened our 2019/20 OBB U18 Division Red league campaign with a loss away against Newbury A. The score (46-7) certainly didn’t match the performance from the lads! As we should have come away with much more than Tom Sharp’s try & conversion. Gareth
