Reading Rugby Football Club is proud to be one of Berkshires oldest Rugby clubs. We have always worked hard on ensuring that all our players and their family enjoy themselves. We are a very family friendly place and everyone can get involved, mothers, fathers even grandparents.
We our proud to have 4 RFU Level II qualified coaches dedicated specifically to the development of the Under 7 age group and take the welfare and safety of our players very seriously; ensuring that all on-field helpers are CRB checked and suitably qualified medical assistance is on duty each week.
Training is at the club’s Holme Park ground in Sonning every Sunday of the season from 9.30 - 11:00am.
We encourage all players to play the game in the right spirit, perform at the best of their abilities, to be gracious in victory, magnanimous in defeat and respectful to the officials, the opposition and their team mates. The development of such values, we believe, will be of benefit to our youngsters well beyond the sports field.
We look forward to welcoming you to the 2022-23 Reading mini’s season either as a family returning or a new member embarking on his or her first rugby experience.
If you have any questions please contact Natalie Ash (Team Manager), whose details are natalie@theashhub.co.uk and she will be happy to get back to you.
