New coaches and recruits but Rebels Finals drought continues.

2010 brought a coaching staff change with veteran Geoff Busch and Kieran Hess taking over in a joint role. Nik (Paps) Papaionnou returned as Club President along with Michael (Fabs) Fabbri in his 6th year as Captain.

The Rebels recruited well in the off season again and were looking to continue their momentum up the ladder with a return to finals footy. This OAFL season was very evenly contested and the Rebels found themselves in winning positions in most games. Unfortunately it ended up being a season of what could have been. The Rebels finished with 3 wins as the team lost 5 games by very close margins in the last quarter, disappointing but still promising signs for the future.

This season saw the advent of a joint Division 2 team with the Toronto Dingo's called the RebelDogs, a great step for the clubs future recruitment. The OAFL had a new premier crowned with the Central Blues taking home their first ever championship with a tightly contested win over the Toronto Dingos. Talented Canadian Cameron Stark, New Aussie Josh Ryder and veteran Michael Fabbri were all nominated to the OAFL ALL Star Team.

For the club Josh Ryder capped off a strong season winning the Best & Fairest award and Peter (Fossil) Bormann continued to defy father time by taking out his second club leading goal kicker award with a tally of 23.

Richard (Monty) Burns and Sean Duffy reached the 100 game mark and were also made Life Members of the club along with Daimin Bodnar who was currently living in Montreal. Three more Canadians reached 50 games, they were Jean (Frog) St. Louis, Craig (Species) Bradley and Aron Tonon. All impressive milestones and again showing the character of the club with players committing to multiple seasons. The year was capped off with a footy trip to Pittsburgh where Brendan (Crackers) Craghill stole the show as he did throughout the year and was justly awarded the clubs Most Spirited award.
