Eagles were without Adam Houghton, Siljan Isufi and Pedro Henderson with Reegan Edwards and Kai Harris also carrying knocks.

Stakes were high with Eagles needing a win to mathematically guarantee a place in Division 1 next season and Arden needing a win to keep their survival hopes on track.

Eagles took the lead when Josh Lewis calmly controlled a clearance on his chest and played a superb through ball over the top of the Arden defence for Zac Phelan to run through and finish calmly with his right peg. Arden levelled before the break with an excellent move inside Eagles box and a smart left foot finish.

Man of the match Zac Phelan added a second when he followed in a shot and finished with a cheeky header and completed his hat trick by pinching another parry from the keeper and poking home from close range. Arden had played well and were perhaps a bit unlucky to be two behind but Eagles counter attacking was now having an impact.

With ten minutes to play and without subs Eagles started to tire and conceded a second. The referee managed to play a whopping four and a half minutes stoppage time and in the 75th minute Arden levelled a minute before time.

Eagles are now unbeaten in five and once again showed incredible energy and work ethic. With just 11 players today and on a full size 4G coach Andy McGowan praised his players effort.

If the bottom two go down Eagles are 100% safe and if the bottom three go down Eagles will need to lose their last game, bottom side Bournville will have to win all 5 of their remaining games and Cadbury will have to win their last two.

If Sutton beat Bournville Tuesday night Eagles will secure a hard earned second season in Division 1 and the Central Warwickshire League's smallest club will celebrate another huge achievement.
