Bright Future For Youth

By Charlie Bright

New manager named as midweek U-18s manager.

Redhill FC is delighted to confirm the appointment of Charlie Bright as Manager of the Under-18 midweek team.

Charlie has worked with under-age and youth teams over many years and was Assistant Manager of last season’s u-18 team which competed in the Combined Counties Youth League. “As a member of our Management Committee, Charlie is very familiar with our aims and ambitions with developmental football at this level’ said Chairman Jerry O’Leary. “He will bring experience, energy, and enthusiasm to the challenge of developing young players for the future”.

Charlie takes over from Jack Stevens who stepped down over the weekend. Charlie commented: “I'm looking forward to working with Managers at the Club to create more pathways for our teenagers to get established in adult football. It was great to see 16-19 year old lads getting chances with our First Team over the past few weeks and I hope I can make this happen more often over the coming years. Having won two u-18 league titles in the past two years, in both Midweek and Sunday youth leagues, I feel we’ve turned a corner at this age group. I’m looking forward to the challenge of continuing this momentum”.
