Vacancy : Reigate RFC Colts Head Coach 2021/2022
As we move into the cycle of having continuous Colts teams on the back of our very successful mini’s and youth sections we as a club now feel the time is right for a dedicated Head Coach for our Colts section.
Our Purpose at Reigate RFC is to provide the best possible rugby experience for our members in an environment that is inclusive, safe and sustainable.
The Aim of our Colts section is to provide U17 & U18 players with an outstanding rugby experience and best in class coaching which fosters a life-long involvement in rugby and engagement with Reigate RFC.

The Reigate RFC Colts Coach will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Selecting and preparing the match day squad.
• Planning and preparing for training sessions and activities.
• Ensuring all players get equal opportunity to take part in all club/team activities.
• Setting the right example for players on and off the field.
• Educating players in the ethos of rugby and the values of being a true sportsman.
• Be fair in the treatment of all players at all times.
• Conforming to all club and RFU policies on safeguarding young children in sport.
• Ensure Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) completed and maintained as required.
• Attending relevant coaching courses.
• Ensuring all activities are safe and supervised at all times.
• Specialist equipment such as weights, scrummaging machines, tackle bags, etc are used only if there are qualified supervisors present.
• Medical kits are immediately available for both training and matches.
• Liaise between Youth and Senior coaches.
• Promote Colts rugby within the whole club.
• Reporting to Head of Youth and Senior team head coach.
