Litherland REMYCA remain in the North West Counties League – Premier Division (NWCP)

Steps 4-6 of the National League System (NLS) has been completed and clubs can now start to plan for the 2021-22 season.

The restructure means Litherland REMYCA remain in the North West Counties League Premier Division (NWCP) for another season.

REMYCA have only competed in one full season since promotion in 2017-18, finishing 15th in the 2018-19 season.

The last two seasons have both ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Fellow Liverpool teams, AFC Liverpool, Lower Breck and Vauxhall Motors join REMYCA in the league which is located at step five in the National League System.

Newly formed Macclesfield FC also join the league as well as Wythenshawe Town and Prestwich Heys.

The full restructure will see 107 clubs promoted in order to balance the new system. A new additional division at Step 4 has been put in place as well as two additional new divisions at Step 5 and a cut of teams in divisions, from 20 to 17, at Step 6.
